SCHOLARSHIPS

At York University, it’s our goal to provide an education that is both affordable and accessible. That’s why we offer tuition assistance to students who demonstrate a financial need to complete their degree. There are a variety of assistance packages including work study, and tuition waivers, as well as the York University Academic Excellence Award for students who demonstrate academic excellence.

York University Academic Excellence Award

This award is given to students that show excellence in their prior education and in their communities that can demonstrate financial need.

 
Eligibility Criteria

This award is available for both domestic and international students that exhibit a clear financial need as determined by our financial aid department. In order to be eligible for this award, a high level of proficiency must be demonstrated in a student’s high school or college transcripts. Additionally, candidates for this award will have demonstrated high levels of leadership, integrity, self-motivation, and personal responsibility in their communities.

 
Amount

The award is between $500 to $3000 per program and must be used for tuition.

Due to the fact that we have open enrollment for our online classes, deadlines for this award occur several times per year. Please contact the admissions office for specialization deadlines corresponding to your enrollment.
